    I've subscribed to this: http://www.peacefire.org/circumventor/ I usually get 5-10 emails a week with new proxy sites to block (obviously designed for students) but allows me to get one step ahead of the game.

    Giving students a roaming profile and allowing them access to the appearance settings (to change the 'window' colour) usually does the trick.

    Just ordered myself a specialized tricross sport 09 model on the cycle to work scheme. Should hopefully be receiving it next week - once the cycle to work paperwork gets through personnel.

    Unfortunately you'll find most web-hosting companies have this stance, else they'd be spending most of their time restoring data. They'll state in the TOC to make your own personal backups.

    The memory is accessable by a screw on the bottom of the IMac. Its perfectly legitimate to upgrade the memory - it wont void the warranty.

    I'm more of a gym person myself. I can't get the motivation to use gym equipment at home, I need a routine such as going to the gym from work.

    You should be able to get a relatively decent one for £150. Check out argos for a start, they have a few on their website.

    What does gpresult from a client come up with? Check the client event log to see if any messages regarding policies are being flagged up. Is it happening for specific users or iscolated to particular machines? Try removing the profile from a student and check whether policies reapply. Is this happening to both staff and students?

    We use Sanyo's. All come with 3 year warranty (once registered with sanyo).
