  1. The Code Club team is running a free, hands-on training session for school staff who want to improve their students' access to coding, and explore Code Club’s free resources. No previous coding experience is required, beginners are very welcome! The workshop is free to attend and will take place at The King’s Centre in Norwich (NR1 1PH) on Wednesday 22nd April 2026, 9.30am - 3.30pm and at FairspaceMK in Milton Keynes (MK9 3BN) on Thursday 23rd April 2026, 9:30am - 3:30pm. Open to teachers, teaching assistants and wider school staff, this practical session will help you gain the skills and confidence needed to start and run an inspiring Code Club at your school. On the day, you’ll get: • Hands-on experience with Scratch and micro:bit • Step-by-step guidance to get started confidently • Information on our free resources To support a staff member in attending the training, we are offering schools a bursary of £150 to help cover supply costs. This offer is limited to one bursary per school and will be paid directly to the school. Interested? I'm part of the Code Club team at the Raspberry Pi Foundation and we are running a free training day for teachers who are interested in starting a club in their school but don't know where to start. We'll cover some basic Scratch/AI/Micro:Bit projects as well as offering ongoing support and training. There's also a bursary of £150 towards supply costs too!
