  1. We had some of these problems before when i tried to use our unifi gear as a L3 system back in the early days - i think its something to do with VLAN 4040 you need to make the smoothwall aware of it for vlans to be able to have internet access. could be wrong however as this may of changed
  2. bummer! do you happen to know where you got the the urls/stuff you put in to SW? so i can try and put them in mine to get it working again. pearsons support wont talk to me as im not on the account lol and the exams officer is off today!

  4. i have got it to work! it was the stupid vlan 4040 stuff! just need to fix LGFL's "VLAN" to pass through the clients IP adddress to the gateway haha

Hi, Ive got a setup here where i have a new Unifi Network the unifi switch is acting as the layer 3 switch. i am trying to get internet access through one of the vlans and smoothwall to put it out to LGFL as one of the LGFL IP addresses (WAN). i am at a loss and cant get it to work! the traffic stops at the smoothwall and then doesn't go out Thanks Max
  7. Hi, Sorry im new to all this I am going to a unifi network and when i do i want to implement VLANs . I've got a smoothwall as our firewall and a self hosted unifi controller with a USW-PRO-Aggregator as the "core?" Ive got the VLANS setup working with DHCP etc but how do i go about giving them access to the outside? lol sorry again #noob Thanks
