  1. I couldn't find autosuggest under our new outlook stuff, what actually is it? Just saw your 'turning it off for security reasons' and realised I didn't even know what it was let alone how it was a security risk. And yeah the new 365 verisons are so much more difficult to restrict. We're still using word 2016/19 because it's the last editions that let us turn off spell check properly with the reqistry.
  2. Our awkward pile of bases is in a long forgotten cabinet in the other side of the college. It's basically a small room of them. I've been meaning to clear them all out to store some old desktops in, but those are almost obselete anyway so really I should get rid of both... The real kicker for storage is SMART boards, we have three old broken ones we keep around for parts and they take up so much room for something we've never needed and likely won't either.
  3. Great reminder for me to turn this off before we go to BYOD next year! These are the settings you're going to want to have a look at on Entra (Azure Active Directory :/) under Devices > Device settings If you're using Intune there's no way to stop users from 'registering' their devices to your AAD. Still, you can stop them from actually joining which should prevent them from being affected by policies like Bitlocker. We had a similar issue last year (but a one-off so it sorta got brushed away), where a student had joined their device to our AAD and then once we deleted their account because they had left it had almost totally bricked the laptop. Such a pain!
