  1. No worries, it's been good, I can't complain, it just does what it says. As I've used it I've discovered more helpful tools on it. I've used the script builder quite a bit, just type in what you want the script to do and it's written for you. There's also an option to talk to a live agent whenever you have an issue which is helpful, there's a tonne of tolls and things on there that I haven't even tested or explored so I can't give a very accurate rating on SuperOps as a whole, but for managing tickets, assets, pushing scripts, software, updates and overall for IT Technician use it's been good. It just allows me to have all of the things I use in one place, we used a remote support software, a ticket desk and various other bits of software, but I always had 6'ish tabs open for a normal day, this has eliminated all of that.
  2. I know it's a little late but thought I'd post if anyone else clicks this looking for an answer. So far from the research I've done and the experiences I've had SuperOps seems to be the best. The most cost effective with the most options still available. It has the ability to automate some of the jobs saving techies time, the plan was to introduce SuperOps so us technicians could be more proactive rather than reactive. Having the asset management, remote software, CMD script builder, updates and alerts all in one place is a massive help to productivity. I'm no longer navigating to 20 different programmes to do a simple task, everything is in one place and there are some automated solutions for some of the jobs that are a little more simple, means I have a few less tickets, updates are also pushed out automatically so I know everything is up to date. There is 24/7 live help available where to get to speak to an actualt human, can't be more thankful for this.
  3. I normally leave it for the headteacher to decide. If a staff member asks, I ask them to email the head and cc me in so I know it's all okay before unblocking anything. Saves me if anyone was to access anything they shouldn't then it's been confirmed by 2 staff members at minimum.
  4. Thanks, I'll have a look to see if the updates are interfering. There's no error message popping up when printing. From the PC, it looks to have sent, it joins the que of documents, however just doesn't show up on the printer.
  5. Hosted, this is my first time using UniFlow, I've done bits of research but in all honesty I'm learning as I go along.
  6. Hi, Recently I have taken on a school that uses cannon photocopiers and UniFlow as a printing solution. The school aren't massive fans, but the trust they are part of say it has to be in all schools. The network connection at school historically hasn't been great, we've only recently moved to fibre and put WAP's in every room so wireless devices are struggling a lot less. However, everytime I visit the school (I give half a day's support a week) there always seems to be an issue. No matter how much we work on, there is always a user that cannot print, now it's from PC connected directly to a network point. I have spoken to the company and they won't give me an admin login so I can't see if there are any problems on the printers side, cannon point at UniFlow and UniFlow point at Cannon, Any ideas on where I could go from here? I'm going around in circles. Cheers
  7. Hi, I've had the same issue this week at one of my schools. For me I think it was due to the permissions the user could only write to certain folders. It had started creating temporary files in the C Drive as you stated above, I uploaded all necessary files to OneDrive, removed the profile and re added it back on. Push the rights back out using a GPO and that seems to have sorted it.
  8. Can anyone PM me the bios password please? I've taken over from another technician and have no info on the laptops. I'm attempting to re build them and then ran into this problem.
