Never considered this before, but have heard talk about cloud-based admissions systems that let you import student info into your MIS. Is this something worth considering? Admissions staff seem to be keen.

Yeah, doubt I'll find any. They're awful but we find them really useful for a select few tasks.

Does anyone know where you can buy AlphaSmarts from (apart from ebay) or know of any alternatives? Looking for a simple word-processor at a low price. Will probably have to go for cheap laptops but wouldn't mind continuing with AlphaSmarts or word-processors given they'll be cheaper and we won't have to worry about them having WiFi.

Hey, this is a massive longshot. But do you still happen to have any AlphaSmart devices?
