VMWARE has given out details about this issue; This issue is caused because the drivers are different for server 2008 R2 as apposed to Server 2008. A quick fix for this is to remove vmware tools.

Cisco are always afew years behind with their technology... !! its the reliablility that you can't beat.

Hi all, I've been testing windows 7 for about 3 weeks now and have noticed that the cisco vpn client doesn't work... ! x64 only. I have been looking around for other sources of vpn client and this 1 caught my eye. This software has been an great bit of kit, i have had it connect to cisco ASA's for upto 17 hours and the line hasen't dropped. It's pretty cheap to licence aswel. Software Scott.
