  1. Hi Rob, I'm sorry, I no longer work for Prowise. I'll contact you privately though as I can answer your question, though it's a little (a lot) late now :-/ apologies.
  2. If you let me know on phone or email which school it is, I'll be happy to chase it up for you, so just let me know if I can help.
  3. Hi TechMonkey, that sounds very strange with the phantom touches. If you get in touch with me on 07826 852548 or [email protected] I'll be able to arrange for this to be looked into and resolved for you. We can offer any customers an annual healthcheck to look around all of your screens, speak with the teachers who use them and IT Technicians who look after them to ensure all is working as it should. If any issues are identified, we can make sure these get resolved for you.
  4. Hi, you can currently have Central v3.2.1 on the Prowise Touchscreen and the new Touchscreen Ten. We are expecting this to be made available for older models including the EntryLine UHD (not the HD version) and the ProLine+ around August being the expected ETA.
  5. Hi Janyo, this may be the school's filters blocking the update, so it's worth checking for it while the screen is connected to a mobile hotspot if that's a possibility? If you get in touch with me by email I can let you have a Network Details document which gives you all the SSL ports that need to be cleared & UR:L's that need to be whitelisted in order for your school's filters not to block our updates and applications. Feel free to email me on [email protected] If you're still having trouble with the update after trying a hotspot, just let me know in an email and I can arrange a visit to the school to update it via USB stick.
  6. Hi, apologies, my mistake. I have just been given a manual for PSC which I’d be happy to share with you on email if you get in touch at [email protected]
  7. Hi, yes, you'll need Prowise/Presenter login credentials. Are you using Prowise a user account that is marked as an Account Admin on the Presenter site licence?
  8. Hi TechMonkey, if you have the Prowise Touchscreen model, you can either go into Settings > About this screen and go into PSC from there, or go to http://www.devices.prowise.com and use your Prowise login credentials to register your screens using the serial numbers.
  9. Hi Rob, I’m assuming you now have 3.2 on your Prowise Touchscreens. 3.2.1 will be on general release shortly too. Prowise Screen Control is also now out there. We’ll be developing this quite intensely over the next year, so watch this space. The great news we released very recently is that it’s going to be free of charge for the entire 5 year warranty period of the screens. Any questions, just shout.
  10. Afternoon all, Great to be here. I've been working with school ICT Tech & Network Managers for the last 8 years, working as the Prowise Partner Manager. Personally I'm based in Clitheroe in Lancashire but cover the whole North of England and North Midlands. I'm sure I'll have met with a few of you over the years, so if you've welcomed me into your school it would be great to say hi. I'll go easy on the sales talk as I'm sure that's not what you need, but if you have any questions I can help with about Prowise products or are looking for info on touchscreen solutions, I'll be more than happy to help. Thanks for adding me to such a great forum, I'm sure some of the topics will be a real eye opener about what's going on in School IT support right now. Cheers, Paul.
