Well i've found an msi in the PROPLUS.WW folder see image would it be just changing the config.xml file to the correct info or is there other files you need to change aswell? :?

I searched but found nothing. We are upgrading staff reg laptops to office 2007. I've done a bit of reading and just want to see how other people have done it. I've seen it is frowned upon to deploy it using MSI and that you should use SMS server(not got that) not getting it either. I would be grateful to know how others have installed it. Thanks in advance.

Yes I was getting errors aswell after much tinkering I think I'm going down the road of "if it ain't broke don't fix it"

Hi no its MOSS 2007 that it requires. Its just i'm having great difficulty understanding the licenses that are required. :?

Our school is looking at Sharepoint Server 2007 with Sims Web Parts. We have been quoted £4000 for someone to host it for us. I've been asked to look at the option of hosting it within school. I've spoke to our LEA about sharepoint Server 2007 License is 523.00 and the CAL can't seem to pin the price down for them, but we have 1500 users. I'm seeing some rather scary numbers if they are £9 each. 8O Is anybody else hosting Sharepoint 2007 within school? I'd be interested to know how it's licensed.

I was told that you can't just bin them. Is this not the case?
