Hi, I'm really hoping someone can help as I've googled extensively with no joy. I am designing a report to show pupils' attendance marks on any particular day, along with their comment and any vulnerabilities. The idea is that SLT can print a list of children who are absent that day, check why they are absent (through the comment) and if they are vulnerable and support as needed. The only thing is, I cannot work out how to filter to only show those pupild who are absent on that day. I can filter the marks to only show up if they are absent marks, but the children who are marked in still come up on the list, just with their attendance mark column blank. Any ideas would be appreciated!!

Hi, I am trying to use this down time to 'spring clean' our database before entering our new admissions next month. My predecessor wasn't particularly tech-savvy and pretty much just bumbled along for 17 years. As you can imagine, the information is all over the place. As part of my clean up operation, I have run the System Diagnostics, gradually worked through the errors and am down to my final few. One of the errors is on Check 22 which checks for duplicate schools. The error reads; "Duplicates detected in the 'Other Schools' table. The records could be merged (via the DBDIAGNOSE script and patch of KB99196): User fixable." I am familiar with the 'Other Schools' panel and there are many duplicates and some very odd entries made by my predecessor. I can easily edit entries but I cannot find a way of deleting entries (for example one school is in the panel 5 times with slightly different addresses and there is an entry that simply says 'Australia' - I would like to clean these up). I don't know how to go about running the DBDIAGNOSE script or downloaded the patch (KB99196) - is this something I need to do? Or should I do this manually? Thanks in advance for the help!
