  1. Indeed we provide schools with the Makerbot Replicator line of 3D printers, which is perfectly designed for school settings. We were selected by the Department For Education for a pilot project that provided 3D printers to schools including a year's worth of consumables (plastic in ABS and PLA) in addition to training and hot-swap replacement support. Last week we participated with Microsoft at the Gadget Show Live showing off how Kinect can be used as a 3D scanner and print models of scanned faces. 2. Hi If you're into custom building/machining parts for replacement or just creating new things from scratch, Makerbot 3D Printers are now available in the UK. They're relativelly cheap and have a lot community support (especially in the US). Robosavvy has begun selling these machines in the UK recently and they're available here RoboSavvy UK - Store Cheers Pedro.
  3. Thank you for the very valuable suggestions! @Dos_Box - we'll look into having a robot at your stand; will be in touch by email http://robosavvy.com/store/product_thumb.php?img=images/manoi320.gif&w=87&h=150 Come by and see our robots at stand U111
  4. We are exhibiting at Bett 2009 for the first time. Our booth is tiny and it would be great to hear from experienced audience how you plan to find your way around the conference and what we should to do in order to get "your" attention? we do have some cool walking robots and i'm sure that people who will happen to pass by our stand will notice but it is not exactly located at the main entrance. http://robosavvy.com/store/product_thumb.php?img=images/Robobuilder/robobuilder-5720T.jpg&w=150&h=150
