We have older epson EB470/570 projectors here and we get the "No Signal" screen all the time , which is probably the equivalent of what you're having. Usually its a cable run issue for us. Cables run into the trunking round to the projector, plus the wall panel, plus the extra cable to the PC. Unhappy projector due to signal loss in the lenght of the cable run. I've started replacing wall panels and shorter HDMI runs from said wall panel to the projector with great success. A good quality HDMI cable also helps. Another thing which others have mentioned as well is the refresh rate + resolution. Double check all the specs for the attached devices and lower the Framerate or Resolution accordingly.

I've been a competitive FPS enjoyer for as long as i've been a gamer, im only in my late 20's, but i've been through all the counter strikes, including still diping into CS2 even today, COD, DoD, Battlefield, Valorant and all in between. I tend to rank above average in most but the one thing that has just got me moving further and further away from these games and their competitive playlists is the cheaters. I can deal being outgunned by someone who outskills me but getting killed by cheater in almost every competitive shooter now is just demoralising and I even started to just play a bunch of single player games or group games with friends. Even racing games which are my second love are affected by this with speed hackers and all sorts. Its nuts! Although, i've recently falled down the Escape From Tarkov rabbit whole with some friends and its been enjoyable but boy are there a lot of cheaters there too! Battlefield was probably the most enjoyable casual shooter experience for me, 2042 now appears to be in a better place that at release and its very playable and easy to enjoy. Cod got super stale quickly being its basically the same recycled game with a cash shop and all the crazy ass movement tricks was just too annoying to keep up with, Warzone was a great deal of fun at the start but it started to go downhill real fast into its lifetime. Start playing Throne and Liberty as a wind down MMO between other games!

Depends on the flavour of the month with the friends from all the games over the many years, Currently its a mix of The Finals and XDefiant. A core group of us are really into shooters so we've been through it all from call of duty to counter strike and valorant. I'm a OJ cs player so i always fall back to that but we occasionaly dip into other group games from Minecraft, Raft, Palword etc. We are all waiting on a good MMO at the moment.

Thanks for the replies guys! We got it deploying from our deployment server via MDT after imaging. It was the first thing i tried and it just worked so i left it ahahah! The school was using an old sketchup version so i got us the google web browser one as its one less thing to push out via GPO's and we also use 2014-2015 Solid works!

How are you guys deploying 2D Design? Im a fairly new IT Tech who's currently upgrading machines to Win10 and sorting apps out for departments and i can't seem to get 2D Design to deploy via GPO. Got a folder in the NETLOGON Share where all other apps/scripts sits with the MSI the LIC and the Config file but it just skips over it. Also tried a .Bat to run the msi but it just flashed up during boot and ignores it. Permission on the folder look fine too. Anyone who can give me some heads up on what i could be missing? Here we use Solid Works/2D Design/ also got the serif suit.

Yes it did! it backed me out while ping test was running

@steveg Tried this and left it running for a few minutes and didn't have any packets drop at all. Only the response time would differ from <1ms to =1ms which should be normal. Also tried navigating the share while running the ping to test and see if it would back me out which it did. So i'm pretty confused as what could be causing it. Will go back and check all permission and compare to the other File Servers and see if theres anything that could be different.

@Jcx500 Appears that this place has no redirection for staff! kind off defeats the purpose of a home drive, since they'll be saving stuff to documents too which will just make their Roaming profile bigger than needed :/ that'll be something to fix when we make the push to win10. @Bedders Yeah the home drivers are just set within the properties field in AD. Appreciate all your input guys!

@LeMarchand Nope! Users could be navigating any folder and it will let them in and then kick them out immediately or after a few seconds. Its as if it loses connection to the share for a split second and then drops you back at My Computer. Even when going into any application and hitting save and navigating them folders it will boot them back out to My Computer.

@BKGarry No problem! So this share only contains staff home folders, all other data( student work/profiles etc) is on a separate servers. They cannot access the root folders of this share, the permission are only allowing them to access their own Home Folder area. Nor can they access or view other people home folders. So the issue is, they will open their Home Folders (S: Drive) as we have it set, and they will navigate into a folder and file explorer will occasionally just return them to Computer where the different storage options are visible (such a C: and other network locations) It doesn't happened every time and its very temperamental. @bald_pig It still happens when navigating over share name not tried over ip though.

Just checked the concurrent user limit and its set to something ridiculously high, like over 16 million simultaneous users. I'd assume that's probably set way too high and may be confusing it?

Hello everyone, Hope someone can help, i'm new to the IT Technician role and so lacking some knowledge when it comes to diagnosing there weird issues. This issues has been present for quite some time even before i started working here from what staff have told me, but we have a Shared Network location where all staff members have their own storage drive/home folder. So this storage location is obviously set in AD as their Home Folder and from what I've checked all the permission to the share are as they should be and look correct. However very often when navigation their home folders users will be backed out of the network share and placed in for example the My Computer folder where you would see all your other network drives etc. It only happens on this network location which is a separate storage server from other network shares we have. If i navigate this share across the network it will also occasionally return me to the folder outside the shared home folder location. Navigating these folders on the server directly does not present this issues tho! So it seems to be a issue with how the share could be set up? Anyone can provide me some insight on what to check and what could be causing the issue? Many thanks!
