@speckytecky I am on the Windows Insider fast ring for Windows 10 using the Lumia 640 XL and for me it's the default tab on the Phone app. -

I have a Lumia 550 with Windows 10 preinstalled. For the life of me I can't find my incoming calls history? -

Nope, no date yet To be honest, I actually had to roll back to 8 a few months ago. 10 was waaay too slow and kept freezing on my phone. I know it's probably more stable by now, but I'm reluctant to go back to the TP. Think I'll stick with 8 until the actual launch now. -

Anyone know the release date for this? Full Windows 10 is out but no update on my handset yet. -

Dev preview here too, with a Lumia 920. Fingers crossed it's new enough to get in on the Windows 10 beta goodness, although I already know I won't be able to have the "Hey Cortana!" working, which makes me sad (Edit for more info in case anyone's interested, only the Lumias 930, 1520 and Icon will be able to have Hey Cortana out of the current phones, as it relies on some tech that only exists in the new Snapdragon processors they use: "Hey Cortana" Not Coming to All Lumias? Only >1GB SensorCore Enabled? (1520, 930/Icon) - Geek on Gadgets : Geek on Gadgets) -
Wake up you quiet lot! Something happening in the Windows Phone world again. What are you looking forwards to in Windows 10? Personally I am keen on the idea of unified apps finally combining the Windows Phone Store and general Windows Store together. Maybe with the push at BETT this year towards Windows on tablets we might see more apps being made? Free upgrade too! No news on which handsets get the free update however, I'd expect low end handsets may be omitted. Will find out soon, already in the Developer Preview so might get the update through like with 8.1 (but who isn't in the dev preview?)

What's scary is how many people refer to Cortana as she instead of it. It's a computer program! (Or a Cylon...)

Cortana

Got it on mine and it is decent, need a new head unit though to trigger Cortana while in Bluetooth audio playback mode. Great you can finally once again (like 10 years ago on win mobile) say play some smashing pumpkins and have it just do it, navigate to x etc. Some of the Easter eggs: What do you think of apple? What do you think of Siri? Where is master chef? Open the pod bay doors Hal. Sing me a song. Etc... It's decent but again they seem to have spent no effort on voice rec for anywhere that is not America, we still don't even have voice commands on the xb1 and its been like six months. -

I use it when driving, it struggles at times with the accent though. -
Apps on your Windows Phone
CAM replied to CAM's topic in Windows Phone Owners Club's Windows Phone Owners Club Topics
BaconIt (Reddit), Official Twitter Client, 4th & Mayor (Foursquare), Migram (Telegram) are my most used. -
Been over a year! Has everyone run back to iOS or something? So...Cortana coming soon and you can pick up WP8.1 now with Dev Centre set to US region. But what silly questions do you have planned to ask the digital assistant to see how it copes?

Only irritation is paying the Natwest Credit Card with them isn't as easy as I would like compared to full online banking. -

I've had the Natwest one on WP for about a week now (they had a big PR thing on Facebook about it) and its great, and I prefer it over the Android one they have so well worth grabbing -

NZ's ASB has had an app for quite a while now, its a decent one too and ammusingly had the iTrinket users complaining that they wanted the newer cleaner interface in their app, till they figured out which app it was they were coverting
