witch Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 I'm trying to sort out my licences and I need to know if particular programs are used at all as I suspect that some are not. Is there anything in Windows or anywhere that will tell me the usage? I can see when the prog was last accessed and that helps a bit but it isn't the whole picture. I thought I saw something about this somewhere but I have searched the forums without success - if anyone can point me in the right direction> Ta
maark Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 If you have impero you can run a report to see what is being used - mainly just internet and office last time I checked! Mark
SYNACK Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 (edited) There are some third party apps that may help depending on your setup and how many stations: Wakoopa - Discover software & games Slife Labs, LLC They seem to report up to the web though rather than an internal database. I have not tried them at all but these could help provide a clearer picture of what applications are in use without requiring a pay for product or a whole bunch of scripting. Edit: Here is a pay for option: http://www.staffcop.com/features/programs.php Edited January 9, 2009 by SYNACK
