lquinnuk Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Hello all, Other than running the update manager I've not had much experience using SIMS as until recently we had a member of staff whose sole responsibility was maging SIMS and Exam information. Anyway, to cut to the point, is there any way I can see who has logged into SIMS and when? So a log of users logins I guess. Cheers muchly as always for the sterling advice that usually follows.
Linfit Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 This is easy with the new System Manager: Focus>System Manager>User Access Log Gives username, user, workstation and login date and time. You can search by start and end date to reduce the length of the list. 3
lquinnuk Posted February 1, 2013 Author Posted February 1, 2013 Thats sounds pretty sweet, when I log onto SIMS and click focus I get a few options but no system manager, I can only assume this is down to my credentials, I'll have a word with the fellow who was in charge of SIMS and get him to create me a managers account. Do you happen to know how far back the log will go, as in, if I don't get a suitable login until Tuesday will I still be able to look at todays login history? Cheers
vikpaw Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 As far back as when sysman 7 was introduced I reckon.
