[sims] SIMS log in History

Hello all,

 

Other than running the update manager I've not had much experience using SIMS as until recently we had a member of staff whose sole responsibility was maging SIMS and Exam information.

 

Anyway, to cut to the point, is there any way I can see who has logged into SIMS and when? So a log of users logins I guess.

This is easy with the new System Manager:

 

Focus>System Manager>User Access Log

 

Gives username, user, workstation and login date and time.

You can search by start and end date to reduce the length of the list.

Thats sounds pretty sweet, when I log onto SIMS and click focus I get a few options but no system manager, I can only assume this is down to my credentials, I'll have a word with the fellow who was in charge of SIMS and get him to create me a managers account.

 

Do you happen to know how far back the log will go, as in, if I don't get a suitable login until Tuesday will I still be able to look at todays login history?

As far back as when sysman 7 was introduced I reckon.
