tj2419 Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Hi Does anyone know a company that would do a free site survey and quote for Ruckus wireless in the North West? Also anyone used this site for testing the equipment? Is it Ruckus or someone else? Ruckus Wireless Demo Cheers
timbo343 Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 If you have the time, do it your self and get demo equipment off some topdogs/bigdogs. All you need to do really is to test down to -65 or -70 and then place another AP. Simples, thats all they do.
RTFM Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Hey @tj2419 I've dropped you a PM with who did our site survey and sorted out our loan equipment. Cheers 1
dezt Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 We got a site survey done from a company called icomm recently for ruckus kit, and the quote was quite good too. 1
Haptic Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 We are a Ruckus Top Dog Partner and specialist in educational wireless deployments; having supplied, installed and supported Ruckus networks within over 400 educational sites within the UK, Europe and UAE we have a plethora of experience and expertise available. With regard to demo kit and site surveys, not a problem at all, PM me your details and I will arrange the rest. As for the site you referenced; it belongs to another partner- Ruckus' channel centered setup means that they work through partners rather than direct. It is worth mentioning though that not all partners are equal (Top Dog, Big Dog and Small Dog; are accreditation levels based on the volume of hardware supplied, experience with the product range, number of trained staff and ancillary services offered). Questions to ask a potential Ruckus supplier would be the number of trained Ruckus WiSE Guy Engineers they have, direct reference sites (rather than generic case studies) and the number/ availability of demo hardware. Thanks, Mark
featured_spectre Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 If it is any help, I can vouch for the speed, quality and efficiency of the @CPLTD team with regards to Ruckus
