i have one user (principal!) who cant access his network home folder. i have finally got it to map (as well as other shares which can now be successfully accessed) but the home folder brings up the error

H:\ refers to a location that is unavailable. etc etc

if i disconnect the drive and remap it works, if i browse to it manually it works.

i have checked the security permissions on the home folder and his account has full access.

i have removed permission from the home folder and readded

i am trying to move/rename the folder but something is stopping me

EDIT

renamed orignal folder, created new folder - FAILED

dropped from domain added again - FAILED

logged in as test users - FAILED

checked machine groups - FAILED

Logged on as me on his machine - FAILS

Logged on as him on my machine - SUCCESS!!! so its the machine

errrrr dunno where to proceed now lol other than reinstall, which i havent the time for really now as i dont have the drives for it at hand

please help....its the head so i dont wanna lose my head
