Digital camera with viewfinder

I'm tasked with finding a new digital camera for a relative, they insist that they want a viewfinder which seems to be a very rare feature these days.

 

Can anyone recommend a decent digital camera around the £150 area with a viewfinder?

I would have suggested talking to the staff of your local Jessops, but thats now gone! As you know most compacts are digital viewfinder now. Maybe worth looking for large screen compacts as a plan B?

Hmmm I'll have to have a think, he has problems seeing the screens in bright light. Cheers anyway Rob

Just found these Canon Powershot A1300 Camera with Viewfinder (Black) | UK Digital Cameras Not used it myself, but the powershot series were usually good, and they look like a good price!

The Olympus uToughs have a viewfinder, although im not a huge fan of the image quality.

We have one of the Canon Powershot A1300 at home. It's a neat little camera, of course it doesn't have all the features of a DSLR or a high end compact but for taking pictures the quality is great and it is easy to use and hold.
