DrT Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Hi all, I've searched high and low for this and can't believe no one else has had the same problem. Under XP, as administrators, we could view the contents of users' Recent folders. Under Windows 7 the user can view the contents but an administrator can't. We know the files are there from the properties info, but we can't see them. I'm not talking about jump lists or anything shown on the Start Menu - it's purely the contents of the folder at "appdata\microsoft\windows\recent items". Does anyone know what's going on here? Thanks in advance.
