british_government Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Hi All, As a school we have been looking at these recently but I have the same thought every time, "There must be some software that does this?" At the end of the day it is just sending text backwards and forwards! We use Smart Sync 2010 as classroom control software and that has some voting functionality but I wondered if anybody used anything better as a software based pupil response kit? Thanks
Ergo Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Do you currently use anything in school for a VLE/MLE/online platform such as SharePoint, Moodle, etc? Many products like that have voting, forum, quiz or closed feedback facilities depending on what level of feedback you want. Dave 1
british_government Posted January 7, 2013 Author Posted January 7, 2013 Thanks Dave, We have a sharepoint 365 site setup and have looked into this a little although it seemed clunky. We were hoping for it to be as simple as teacher types question and it appears for students to answer, the teacher then see's who has and hasn't answered and what they said. I Understand that 365 can do this but not necessarily as smooth, but it is certainly an option to offer staff cheers.
Bev Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 We have been doing this with Google Docs, there is a form option on there that is very easy to use.
