[wanted] iPad 1 anyone?

Has anyone got an iPad 1 they want to sell. Only needs to be an Ipad 1 as I just need it to run an app with IOS5 at least and my iPod 2 wll only go up to 4 so thought might as well change to an iPad at the same time but trying to keep the cost down. Looking on fleabay at moment though.

The iPad one is a good choice, it is actually the most robust and compact one with the thickest screen glass, the one thing it lacks is cameras.

Not having a camera does not bother me as I use my phone for that and believe me no one would want to see my face on their tablet or PC screen via video!

Just don't expect it to be even remotely fast. It has a terrible amount of memory compared to later iPads (256mb) so it's slow as heck nowadays. Using my mum's iPad drives me insane, forever lagging in safari (Checkerboard effect whist loading)

I use an IPAD1 as a personal device but also use the new IPAD Retina in work quite often but don't really notice much difference to be honest - especially in spead surfing the net.

 

Hadn't thought about selling the IPAD1 but maybe interested for a reasonable price as can always use the work one - PM me if no one else shouts with an offer.

Have you considered an iPad 2 and downgrading the iOS?

IOS6 would be fine so long as its 5 or over its ok. Did consider a 2 but price is too much for what I want to use it for
