They also offer, apparently, a years' worth of bacon sandwiched if you can finish it [Any Edugeekers in/near Birmingham able to confirm or feel like taking on the challenge?]

The massive butty has a healthy helping of all your Christmas lunch favourites, including potatoes, sprouts, six carrots, six parsnips and eight sausages wrapped in bacon.

Everything is kept together in a 800g crusty loaf...

...This is surely Britain's largest ever Christmas sandwich, and one cafe in Birmingham will give you a year's supply of bacon butties if you can wolf it down in under 45 minutes...

...The gut-busting bloomer, priced at £15, is packed with potatoes, sprouts, six carrots, the sausages wrapped in bacon, the turkey meat, stuffing, a whole jar of cranberry sauce - all wrapped in an 800g loaf of bread.

Not only that, the challenge comes with a boat of gravy, a 450g Christmas pudding and a pint-and-a-half of tea.

The owners of the B.E.S.T cafe in Edrington, Birmingham, Dominic Riley, 29, and Richard Hollis, 31, decided to come up with the idea in the spirit of Christmas...

5lbs of food in 45 mins...well I have managed to demolish a 40oz steak, 1lb of mashed potato, 1lb of veg, and 0.5lb of bread rolls with a milkshake finisher in 50 mins in Germany...and this is lighter, so easily done...plus a years supply of bacon...I'll bankrupt them. I could easily eat 2-3 packs a day!
