witch Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Does anyone know how to remove the screen on one of these netbooks? I cannot find a guide and I am not keen on prising things up in case they aren't supposed to come off!!
Jobos Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I've got a guide for the N130. Not quite the same but it will give you some tips. Samsung N130.pdf 1
Michael Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Generally speaking all netbooks have two screws (covered by pads) at the bottom left and right of the screen. You then need to gently run a screw driver along the joining edge to remove the screen surround. The screen itself is typically attached with four screws on the inside. The video connection itself is typically taped on the rear (for your reference, if you didn't know) 1
difinity Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I'd recommend a plastic spludger rather than a metal screwdriver as there is less chance of damaging the plastics. 1
witch Posted December 18, 2012 Author Posted December 18, 2012 What's a spludger??? But thanks for that!!
difinity Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 @ Witch My mistake it's a spudger. A tool for prying and poking and opening.
