[mdt] Linked deployment share? Does it rely on the original server?

Hi,

 

I have now setup a fairly decent image on one of our servers in MDT and would now like to copy to our other servers at other sites.

 

If i were to do this and then remove the original server that i shared the share from would the linked deployment share still work between the other servers?

A deployment share is self contained, that way you can just point hosts at it even without wds. Assuming your sites each have a copy of the deployment share you should be fine.
