Push software to Windows machines

What software/servers do you use to push software out to client machines I am thinking about using Fog we have 300 Windows PC's in a school district.

Fog for imaging, WPKG for post installed deployment

WPKG | Open Source Software Deployment and Distribution

 

WPKG is an automated software deployment, upgrade and removal program for Windows.

It can be used to push/pull software packages, such as Service Packs, hotfixes, or program installations from a central server (for example, Samba or Active Directory) to a number of workstations.

It can run as a service to install software in the background (silent install), without user interaction.

It can install MSI, InstallShield, PackagefortheWeb, Inno Setup, Nullsoft, other software installers or .exe packages, .bat and .cmd scripts and similar: no more repackaging to perform software installation.

WPKG is open source software.

I use MDT 2010 and WDS for imaging 2012 is out now but I haven't used it yet.

 

I use Admin Arsenal PDQ for post image software install and updates. This is not free but priced well.

MDT for OS deployment then App-V for pretty much every application (still do Flash/Reader through GPO).

SCCM, its awesome.

System Center Config Manager, put it in place this summer and over the moon with it.
