Schedule shutdown time (Daily) in ESXi 5.1 host Machine

I want to schedule shutdown of my ESXi 5.1 host machine daily on a particular time (Example: 23:59).

so how to achieve this task.

i am new to this.

An esxi host is a linux machine so crontab (the linux scheduler) might work. Try getting it to call the halt command. Get in via the console or enable ssh access.
