[video] 1200FPS Cheetah

This video is absolutely stunning, it's put aside a few incorrect assumptions I had about cheetahs or other fast animals.

 

For one, I always thought they landed/leapt from their feet at the same time (i.e. front two together, then back two together) when in fact both sets of legs at the very last minute act entirely separately.

 

Absolutely amazing.
