WGM on 10.6 server

We have just purchased some additional machines to go in a room with some existing Macs. The existing Macs are on 10.6 and communicate with WGM happily enough.

 

We cannot get the new MACs running 10.8 to talk with WGM. Should they be able to talk with WGM 10.6?

 

Any advice please?

There are no compatibility issues between WGM on OSX Snow Leopard and clients running Lion or Mountain Lion. If and when you upgrade to Profile Manager, that is only compatible with clients that are on Lion or Mountain Lion. You can also upgrade your server to 10.8 and still run WGM without issue.
