Looking for Feedback for my Personal Site

As some of you may be aware my bike was stolen way back at the start of the year, having been a victim of petty crime several times and the police being their typical uninterested selves I've ended up with a couple of sites that look at combating the problem...

 

Would love any feedback on them...

 

I have Stolen-Bikes.co.uk

Essentially a bike register, people go online, enter details about their stolen bike then it gets published through various channels in the hope that someone might come into contact with it.

 

Then there's Find That Bike (replacing Bike Finder in the new year)

This combines adverts from the big two classified providers (eBay and Gumtree), allowing victims of bike theft to search all from one place. We also offer email alerts so it makes things much easier to keep an eye out for a specific bike.

 

As I say any feedback/comments on either is much appreciated I'm really looking for ideas on how to expand either service, I've also setup social media accounts to if you've be kind enough to follow/plus/like you'd make me very happy.

Just had a look at the help page. Not sure if it helps but I found these issues:

Why "report your stolen bike" in one place and " report your bike stolen" in another?

Most of the above is fixed (apart from the Google Map, which I could do but it worries me)....

 

Got a new site now if anyone wants to cast a critical eye over it - Check That Bike

 

If your buying a used bike, you whack in the frame number and presto chango it will tell you if there's a record of it being stolen on the big three registers.

One thing that comes to mind is integrating your websites together (although remaining separate), such as a bike frame number on checkthatbike.co.uk which comes back as stolen should offer to create a post on stolen-bikes in a 'Recover' section or something, where a buyer of stolen bike can get the bike back to the owner and work together with the police to get the buyers money back. ..That sort of thing!

Nice site but i've spotted two issues...

1 - Entering no frame number shouldn't actually search, it currently shows up as stolen!

2 - you have a cross site scripting vulnerability... click me (it's safe to click that, it just shows an alert).

Thanks and I'll put in my standard security functions tonight (overlooked it as it wasn't putting stuff into a database).
