I went to the effort to sanitize the HTML report of my Chrome settings, so given that I've had a few requests PMed to me, figured I may as well just post it all up here for future Google Warriors ;)

To copy and paste liberally from an email I've already sent:

Most of these settings should be fairly obvious with regards to changes you’ll need to make – replace H:\ with your mapped home drive letter of choice and http://intranet/ with your homepage. enlight.net is what we use for ECDL testing, so you can leave that bit out if you don’t need it.

Other than that, the rest of the settings should just do the job for you – Chrome will use the system proxy settings (so whatever IE uses already), add ons can’t be installed, google accounts can’t be signed into, favourites roam with users (otherwise they’re only saved in the local profile), and most of the daft features like Cloud Printing are stopped.

The only problem I was never able to resolve was getting the home page to show on a new tab – this is the best I got it, homepage shows on startup, and people can click the home button on a new tab.

GPO report (change the extension to .htm when you've downloaded, had to rename to be able to upload it. It's just a report generated from Active Directory, feel free to check the code to verify that it's safe):w7 c - Google Chrome settings.renameMeTo.htm.txt
