localzuk Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 I'm currently building our new print server, and am installing both 64bit and 32bit drivers for all our printers and everything is going ok so far except for the HP OfficeJet Pro K5400. I can't seem to get the 32bit driver to install as an additional driver. It prompts me to provide a path to Windows media (x86 processor). But obviously, I'm on Server 2008 R2 so it doesn't exist! How do I get this to work?
sted Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 abandon all hope even when ive got these installed it seemed to crash the spooler on the server with frigntening regulatity. Only way i found round it was to install on a 2003 server then shared out even to win7 pcs seems fine of course assuming im remembering the right model number which i think i am but not 100% sure if you really want to try to install drivers drag it to server and usb it in it then installs the correct drivers
localzuk Posted November 27, 2012 Author Posted November 27, 2012 Great. Its only used on one machine anyway, so I'll just USB it to that machine instead.
