unixman_again Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 If you click here Moodle: Microsoft Office 365 you'll see a nice image of a corkboard. I'm guessing this was done in photoshop, which is how I do mine. It's damn tedious this way. I know there are various online creators, such as corkboard.me and Wallwisher but these don't spit out a jpg or similar. Does anybody know of an application, that lets you enter several notes, chuck them onto a virtual corkboard, which can then be exported as a jpg? Operating system is irrelevant and we would prefer open source but we will pay if necessary. Thanks!
LeMarchand Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 I know there are various online creators, such as corkboard.me and Wallwisher but these don't spit out a jpg or similar. Why not use one of the above + PrtScr or a virtual jpeg printer or screen grab program?
6Foot2 Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 Why not use one of the above + PrtScr or a virtual jpeg printer or screen grab program? Or the Screen Snipping Tool that comes with Windows 7 [if using windows 7 of course] Snipping Tool shortcut properties: http://i.snag.gy/XvDCo.jpg
shenley Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Very nice picture from B&FC. As I see it, the problem with the online options, is they are very limited in the types of "paper" that you can stick on the board. You can change the colour but you are limited to rectangles. They look too much like Post-It notes. You could probably do something with Gimp's Script-Fu if you can put the time in to learn it.
LeMarchand Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Or the Screen Snipping Tool that comes with Windows 7 I always wondered what that did, but never got around to playing!
Alis_Klar Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 I would actually like to have a Virtual Corkboard on our intranet. Would be configured with open authentication. Would ideally just load up and allow anyone to add/remove notes like a wiki but more visual. Is there any open source projects/commercial products which do this?
