Since they forced v5 on us I've had nothing but problems. A lot have slowly been fixed but the "Ignore Words and Phrases" still doesn't work, so we get 100s of hits on "princess" and "Whack" not to mention "bih" whatever that is. The other hate is that with V4, if there was a hit, I could look at the image capture and see the offending word. That no longer seems to happen. There is no sign of the word, so no proof.

 

Now they want us to spend £60 to go on another course to learn about something we didn't want in the first place!

 

Edit: I just got an email from Forensic Software to say the Ignore Words issue has been fixed. That was quick

The problem has been fixed in version 5.1.4.5 and the clients should have auto-updated. Some have, some haven't. I thought the answer might be to use their Force tool, to uninstall PC and then reinstall. This tool takes a while to work and the only way to monitor its progress in via Task Manager. So I've tried running it on a couple of computers, whilst I was at lunch. Just come back and nothing has happened.

 

Considering we are paying for this stuff, it's not very good.

Yeap, I've stopped using it. It was broken with Vista for 2 years and they refused t acknowelge my issues. (Not enough Vista users I guess) Anyhow on Windows 7 it was crapping all over itself, so I recently retired the server. Still paying this years support though. I'll looking at Impero that has monitoring built in.
