Scientifica and Windows 7

Has anyone managed to get Nelson Thornes ( ) Scientifica 7 and 8 working with Windows 7? If so, how did you do it?

I too am tasked with getting Scientifica 7 and 8 working with Windows 7 SP1, all Nelson Thornes have to say on the matter is that the software was never updated to run on New Operating systems so they wont be willing to support it.
