Folder redirection migration?

Hello Edugeek, I'm looking for some help locating some documentation on the ideal way to migrate folder redirection from one server to another. I've ran into the issue of when doing the folder redirection migration that if the specified folders to not match the previous configuration it wont work, and gives no insight as to what is snagging the process up. Does anyone have any insight as to where I can find a guide or ideal instructions to follow as it's getting very annoying having it touch each workstation, and I'm looking to eliminate that from the process.

You will probably need to give details of what you are redirecting, what the client OS is, filesystem permissions on the new and old locations, share permissions, are you migrating data or just using a different server etc.

Folder redirection going wrong will normally get logged though, so you should probably check the event viewer first.

Well it seems every time I do a server migration it's always the folder redirection that makes it take longer than it needs to. I end up having to log into each workstation and transfer over their old profiles, and manually redirect their folders. I assume it's because folder xyz is being redirected, and I want folders wxyz migrated it just never goes smooth.
