PeterW Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Do you have an antenna availabe so that you can use some hardware TV tuner maybe USB or PCMCIA/PC Card or do you mean IPTV over the internet?
mrcrazy04 Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 If It's IPTV, the BBC are launching their IPlayer soon, but I think that's more of a download than a streaming live broadcast - however they are also doing that, but it's in beta at the moment, and you need to get the password off your ISP if they support multicasting.
Andrew_C Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Hauppauge do a usb TV tuner device. You'd still need an aerial, and a licence, unless you live at home still.

Guest Guest Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 BT have one but i dont think its strictly iptv. imho its just not really upto it yet, especially if you dont have a 16mb+ connection lol
Joedetic Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Have you looked at 4oD. You can watch various programs free and rent out the ones that have been out for a while etc etc. Since i went to university i stopped watching television firstly because i'm too cheap to pay for the license and secondly because it's mostly crap anyway and i've got better things to do with my time than watch tv But...saying that...various things and be downloaded fom t'internet.
