After rebuilding some macs this morning i had to redownload the 19gb of logic content and reinstall it. Does any one know a way of just downloading this and then being able to store it on the network so i can install it from a share rather than downloading 19gb on multiple devices?

I am sure there must be a .dmg out there somewhere. I had a similar issue but with the GarageBand Additional content and managed to download a .dmg.

Have you tried making one with .pkg creator?

You can just copy all the requires files to their respective location. I did this on 30 macs during half term. I will find the list of files I made when I'm back at my desk later.

If you could that would be great!

Apologies, I forgot about this yesterday.

The folders that you need to copy from your reference machine are as follows:

Library/Application Support/Logic

Library/Application Support/Garageband

Library/Audio/Apple Loops

Library/Audio/Impulse Responses

I used ARD to do this in two tasks, the beauty of this is that ARD uses multicast for file transfers by default.
