Replacing terminal services gateway.

I seem to remember an article awhile ago about open source remote access technology for replacing terminal services gateway. The need arises as we are moving away from SBS 2008 which includes a TS gateway licences. What other solutions have users got for doing so?

Depends what you are looking at, there is Home access plus But I think that is built on TS anyway. For remote access we are now looking at server 2012 direct access, well worth a google or youtube for a demo.

Adito VPN works is web-based and runs from a linux machine. Alternativly if you want to look towards Hardware then the Juniper Appliances are brilliant.

I am looking at a way of enabling user to connect to their machines they can do this now with TS gateway.
