I'm trying to build a section on our website that focuses on e-safety aimd at parents and Students. I've had an idea of displaying weekly e-saftey tips and advice like flash cards. Has anyone else done something similar or know of anyone who does. Even better can you all have ago at writing some handy tips?

I've never done what you are trying to do, but it seems like a good idea.

A few to get you started:

Treat your password like your toothbrush, change it regularly and don't share it with anyone.

You cannot ever assume the account that you are talking to online is being used by its owner. Think before you post.

The internet is a public place, don't assume privacy settings will ensure your posts will not be seen by the wrong people.

Never give away your private information, such as your name, address, school or phone number, to someone that you've only met on the internet.

If you wouldn't say something to someone's face in a public place, don't post it on the internet.

Never meet someone that you have only met on the internet.

If it seems to good to be true, it probably is. Save yourself from scammers.
