karldenton Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Hi, I'm just setting up some of the first iPads on our network and want to disable iMessage, photo booth etc. I don't want them on the home page. I'm using iPhone configuration utility but can't find a way to remove them. Any ideas ? Thanks
januttall Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 (edited) Press and hold the app they will start shaking then click the X and they will go. hard and nasty way but it should work. N.B there are some apps you cant delete!! these may be some of them. but you should be able to move them onto another "page" Edited November 7, 2012 by januttall
uffy2000 Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 i have had to look into locking down features and apps for a primary school, look into apple configurator not iphone configurator and MDM server.
karldenton Posted November 7, 2012 Author Posted November 7, 2012 Thanks, unfortunately its OSX only.
