I need a robust solution to deploy the printer and drivers, and finally set as default. We are using papercut at the school. Thanks

Thanks Login script that checks computer name, and adds printers/default based on room or laptop etc etc Steve

gream0604 Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 We also use Group Policy Item Level Targeting. Based on a Security group for Laptop users, and computer name for desktop machines. Only just rolled it out in the last few weeks, and it seems to be working very well.
Hedghog Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 We have the printer deployment tool in Server 2008R2 running which makes it a breeze to deploy printers by group policy.
