Reg entry for RSOP on CC3?

Hi folks,

We have recently moved away from RM and developed our own network. We are still running our CC3 servers with a trust to our new domain just to make it easier to copy any files that may have been missed during migration. I am trying to set up the GPO's for our exam users and want to marry our old CC3 GPO with the new one. I vaguely remember there was a reg entry to had to enter in order for the RSOP to work on the CC3 servers but can't remeber what it is. Does anyone else know? (My RM account is now deleted as we are no longer paying for support).

Workaround

 

To generate RSoP data follow these steps:

 

Using a system administrator account, log on to the workstation you want to generate policy data on.

Click Start, Run and type regedit and click OK. This will open the registry editor.

Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System.

Delete the following registry value 'RSoPLogging REG_DWORD 0x00000000'.

Log off, then log back on again (Do not restart the workstation).

 

You will now be able to generate up-to-date user specific RSoP data using either tool.

You can also log on as other users and generate group policy data specific to their policy settings.

 

Note: The above work-around only provides up-to-date reporting on applied user specific GPOs. If you also require computer specific GPOs to be correctly reported, please complete the following tasks instead of the tasks above.

You will now be able to generate full up-to-date RSoP data using either tool.

You can also log on as other users and generate group policy data specific to their policy settings.
