DMcGuigan Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 I can't say I ever really had an issue, it always ran worse than other games, but I had at least 45+ fps, was quite smooth on: AMD Phenom XII 955 Black @3.2 Ghz 2x ATI Radeon HD 6870s 8GB DDR3 1333 RAM 1TB HDD @ 7200rpm

I'll think twice before using a nvidia card again, but to be fair I think it's more to do with poor optimisation by Rockstar than nvidias drivers.

I'm running Win 7 x64 too, no issues.. it could be the Nvidia drivers playing up, I haven't used an Nvidia card in about 4 years, so not too sure I had it on Xbox, but when the full collection is on steam for a fiver, you're mad to say no!

True that, there are SO many good mods for GTA IV as well, there's countless hours of replay-value! However I wouldn't buy the steam edition if I was modding, but £5 is a true bargain for most people
Arthur Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 Good news! The PC version of GTA V is going to be released a few months after the console releases.
