RIP Mike Singleton

The Register has just announced that Mike Singleton, of Lords of Midnight and Doomdarks Revenge fame (amongst others) has passed away.

 

Game over for legendary 1980s games designer Mike Singleton ? Reg Hardware

 

I'd just like to thank Mike for chewing up so many evenings in my teenage years.

 

RIP epic game fella.

It's such a shame. I was not born in the 80's but I know that that was the turning point for narrative in games and he was the father of it. RIP Mike Singleton.
