Paperwork for giving computers to another school?

Hi All,

We are giving some PCs and Monitors to a local primary school.

I have a list of all the serial numbers etc and I have created a form with this on for the school and me to sign.

I'm wondering if there is anything I should put on the form to cover myself at a later date!

 

Any ideas

You got anything in it about removing licenses etc? Assuming it's all linked to your volume licensing etc currently.

Responsibility for PAT testing before installation, perhaps?

 

Something tedious like "as seen, no warranty"?

Luckily the machines I'm giving away have OEM XP Pro licenses with them, which is nice!

Something along the lines of

 

- no technical support given

- no warranty

- no software supplied apart from the OEM Windows license attached to the unit

- new school is responsible for PAT testing them before use

 

From your side...

 

- have they been removed from your inventory list and does anyone from your finance team need to approve this?

- have the drives been wiped with a disk erase tool?

 

All there to make sure you're covered and the old machines don't come back to bite you
