Fog server not booting

Hi,

I'm posting here as I think this is a OS problem rather than a fog problem.

 

Right so I've got (or had) Fog running on Ubuntu 12.04. It was working fine on Monday but now it's not booting and giving the error

 

error:no such device: 03963285-e03b-45b6-ad71-02c07688174e

 

I've found this link installation - Boot error > no such device: grub rescue - Ask Ubuntu but don't want to try until I've had a second opinion and of course I don't have a backup as that would make it too easy

 

As long as I can get the images off the server I will be happy but it would be even better if this problem could be fixed.
