Google Chrome - Setting the Homepage with ADM

Hi

 

I've got Chrome working on our Windows XP network and it's picking up the settings from Group Policy fine, however I have one remaining issue - when Chrome loads how do I set that page as the Homepage?

 

Currently a blank page loads and there's an icon / link for the Chrome Web Store and we don't want this there. Students can press the Homepage button to get to the Homepage (our Intranet) but this is not how we want it to work.

 

What am I missing? I assume this can be done?

 

Having never used Chrome and I don't know too much about it so any help is really appreciated.

Google Chrome > Startup Pages > Action on startup = open a list of URLs, URLs to open on startup = your home page.

 

No way of setting a new tab to go to your homepage though, as far as I could work out last week - it always shows that new tab page. I used the block access to a list of URLs policy to block chrome.google.com/webstore/ as I don't want kiddies wasting time browsing, even though installation was already locked down.

 

Don't forget to set the policy on cloud print as well, tie down who can login (I set the regex of allowed accounts to *@iamnotadomainiamadummy.stupid), disable incognito and blacklist all extensions.
