[ms office - 2010] Office 2010 Saving issues in Access and Word

In recent weeks we have had a reoccurrence of a problem that previously visited us with Office 2010 on student logins - flaming thing isn't saving. Previously it seemed to be resolved after SP1 of Office 2010 was applied but now it's back.

 

Message from a teacher today as an example:

We've been having the same old trouble with the VBA problems when using MS Access. The odd thing is if Im logged on to any machine its fine, ditto Another staff member ditto the few kids who don't play PC games. Therefore Im thinking its an issue relating to individual profiles. A usable solution would therefore seem to me to set up 8 new blank accounts to just use for GCSE work. Is this easyish? ICT1, ICT2 etc with same for passwords

This is a 2008 Domain with a mix of XP Pro and Windows 7 clients. Same problem on MS Word for many of the students.

 

I'm wondering if something in recent updates has borfed this up, anyone else had similar problems.

They have Roaming Profiles. I have just been looking at what happens to one of affected Students when he was on MS Access (2010) they were importing data from Excel and creating a table then up pops the following:

This Error message when you run a compiled Microsoft Access MDE, ACCDE, or ADE file in Access 2010: "The database cannot be opened because the VBA project contained in it cannot be read" seems to explain what we are experiencing - I can't see why it is only affecting some - not all students?

Are they creating documents from scratch or loading up one that been created for them?

They are using a excel file that came from AQA
