Its avalible on most Linux LiveCDs (eg Knoppix) as a boot option but you can also get a standalone floppy disk image and/or ISO if you prefer. http://www.memtest86.com/ Its also worth noting that you should turn off your L1 and L2 cache in your BIOS (if you can) when testing memory. Caching sometimes masks those pesky intimittant errors.
