ICT Technician

35 hours per week. 40 weeks per year (term time +)

Starting Salary £13,885 (inclusive of holiday pay)

Scale point 11

 

Start date November 2012

 

Chetham’s School of Music wishes to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible, hardworking person with excellent communication skills who enjoys working with adults and young people. You will be responsible to the school Network Manager and will be able to work on your own initiative to provide a high standard of ICT support. You will have a good knowledge of hardware and software support and have the appropriate academic qualifications or equivalent experience.

It is desirable that you have the following technical skills:

 

Experience of Windows XP Pro & Windows 7 Workstations

Experience of Windows Server 2003/2008

Experience of a Windows domain based network

PC hardware/software troubleshooting

Experience of website content management

Proficient use of Office 2007
